Revision Time

It is 4.35am on a Saturday morning. I am already up and sitting in front of my study table. (Why so early?). I need to do my revision and prepare for my exam that is going to be held on the 4 May 2012. The semester will end soon.

I really see the different to study before a baby is born and after I have a baby. Don't mention about physically tiredness but I felt that I needed 28 hours per day to juggling between family, work and studies. I once mentioned to my sister about the differences, she told me "Of course, now your baby need your attention." This is so true. This explains why I need to get up early to study, do my assignment and even doing the house chores.

Anyway, wouldn't spent too much time writing this; I should continue my revision. I just like to remind myself: "Shirley, do it for your baby. Another 4 more subjects and 1 project to "tahan", finish your Master... don't wait and waste!" Kambateh!!!

"Papa, we are going to miss you for 2 weeks"

It is almost like every year's agenda that Ivan needed to travel to Gold Coast for 1 week or more for his branch office infrastructure setup. I remembered in year May/June 2010, before I got pregnant with Annabelle; we had chance to spent 5 days holiday in Gold Coast partially training/ working and "holidaying" ...

This time, Ivan got to know that his expertise is needed again in the branch campus with only 4 days notice. Passport was renew; ticket was booked and itinerary was confirmed almost within the same day, and he need to fly out on Friday (30/3/2012), 9.25pm. This means that he is going to leave us for 2 weeks. Though it is just a short 2 weeks he is quite reluctant and having a "heavy" heart to leave us behind.

We reached the LCCT around 7+pm, and the whole time; Annabelle was a little serious and her smile and cheer on her face was lesser. I am not sure if she knows that her papa is leaving for work or her first experience visiting the airport. After Ivan checked in; he spent most of his time carrying Annabelle and hugging, kissing her.

The time has come that he needs to depart and we need to say "Good Bye". Before reaching the departing gate; the papa broke down in tears (of course I almost did as well, but I stay strong..). I told him that we are going to be okay and I will take care of Annabelle well. He is going to come back after 2 weeks and time flies, he will get to see her again. O... I need to mention that I left Annabelle's napkin with him in his beg for him to have a smell of the baby.. :P (Darling, when you read this post; don't kill me for writing this :>)

As said earlier, Ivan travelled to Australia many times before; but this is his first time leaving his child and his wife when he is travelling. I guess he does not want that but under certain circumstances, he has no choice to go...  "Darling, do not worry; your daughter will not forget you. When you come back to Malaysia, she will give you the biggest smile when she see you!"

Gong Xi... Gong Xi... Gong Xi Ni

Hahaaa... "恭喜...恭喜...恭喜你" ... Halo... you must be wondering why am I wishing you when Chinese New Year has past and the next Chinese New Year is long way to come.

Annabelle has grown to learn to bring her two tiny hands together spontaneously. Few days ago, when me and my mother in law were playing her in the hall and suddenly we saw that she did the act of wishing like "Gong Xi Gong Xi". So, to see the action again; we repeat the phrase of gong xi and she indeed repeated her action.

I am so happy with her... though CNY has over, I am sure she can wish her papa and mummy and others next year with this little skills she learnt.

Reward/ Present for her "Good Girl"

Annabelle had achieved her 5 stars needed for a present or reward from her papa and mummy. We have no clue what is the best gift for her. During the weekend that I was working at Mid Valley, we had seen the Pororo soft toy; Annabelle like it and she will give her biggest smile whenever I sing the Pororo's opening theme song to her. So, we have decided to get that for her as her first good girl reward.

"Mummy, how much is Pororo?"
See where is Annabelle's foot
Let me check your nose!

Oh, you got a flat feet ya...
