Moving into last quarter of the Year - (Aug 2016's Blog)

Lately, I was so occupied with work and working over the weekend; I noticed that I am caution when I know it is approaching month end and I have not pen down the memories for the month. I did this today as I can find few minutes after work on the Friday night.

For the month of August 2016, it is a month of birthday. It is Annabelle 5th Birthday and my birthday. My dear daughter was very excited and had informed that mummy what kind of cake she intend to have. This year the celebration was done only in her tadika on the 4th Aug, and we brought her to few places that she had said she would like to visit during her birthday.

Morning: Birthday Celebration at her school.

Happy Birthday to you, Annabelle.

Both sister were so excited

Afternoon: The after fever of "Finding Dory" prompted her curiosity about underwater world. So, explains the visit to Aquaria. It was a great experience that the children get to touch and see different types of sea creatures.
"Come on, let me touch and feel you..."

"where is the the otter?"

Whose teeth are sharper

Big octopus don't catch us

Nice family day out today

Thank you papa & mummy for this day

Evening: Many months ago, we told her about the restaurant that she nearly got lost when she was about 2 years old. Today, we return to this restaurant. "Annabelle, mummy still have phobia in this restaurant even after years, so please don't give me this heart attack again :)"

So happy to see them happy
All right, the birthday celebration has come to an end. We asked her in the night before bed: "Are you happy today?" "Yes" she replied. On the other of the bed, the sister Abigail said: "Mummy, you never arrange birthday for me?" I laugh and say "of course I had and I will, but will be in next year January." Papa followed by saying: "Not everyone's birthday is your birthday, ma..." Abigail made funny faces and turn around and pretend to sleep...

So, once again; we both feel that we are so blessed to have 2 lovely daughters. They have grown up to decide where and what they like to do for their birthday. Now, as parents; we will do what we can within our means and we hope that our small do that we had for them will make a memorable birthday for them.

Message to my girls:
"Papa mummy are so happy to see you both happy..."

Month of July 2016 Happenings

The month of July 2016 has just passed so quickly before I can pen down anything for our blog, it is okay. Let's me just rewind and recall what are the happenings then.

07-07-16: Papa & Mummy Anniversary (a day that is much more important than a wedding anniversary) as this marked papa and mummy have got together 11 years. We got a surprise celebration given by our close friend, Adam and Melinda. Today is also Melinda's birthday, so it is a double celebration. This is the first time, Annabelle and Abigail singing karaoke in the club. :) We thank Adam and Melinda for inviting us for this celebration. The night went on well with everyone has decent amount of drink and the feeling of "it has a long time since we "karoking".." A big thank you to Adam and Linda :)

Fast forward to 23-07-2016. Today is our late "thata" death anniversary. Papa and mummy have decided to bring the girls to visit him for the first time in the cemetery. Annabelle told me that she wants to buy pink colour flower for her thata and she has chosen it at the stall. At the cemetery, Annabelle said "Mummy, I am a hard worker today as I spread the flower petals for thata and grand auntie ..." Indeed, today she and her sister really pay their respect by ways of prayer, she lead the Our Father Prayer for all the 6 graves and my tears just drop the moment I heard the prayer started. She has grown so much that she could say her prayers.

To my late father in law and their thata in Heaven, please watch over us and keep our children safe at all time; we will miss you although I didn't get to call you "Papa" and I'm sure the children will be running around you calling "thata... thata,..". God loves you more and rest in peace. You are dearly missed.
